In 2014, The Christi Center reached the 1,000th tree planted in Christi Center Memorial Tree Groves. Trees have been planted at Lady Bird Lake in Austin (1991-2000) and Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock (2001-2014). The tree groves are a living memorial to loved ones, and many families gather there to reflect, picnic, and enjoy the restorative powers of nature.
At this time, we have not identified a new Tree Grove site. If you would like to be notified when we do have any updates, please fill out the form below, and we’ll add you to our email contact list.
If you have planted a tree in the groves at Lady Bird Lake (formerly known as Town Lake) or Old Settlers Park, you can access the maps we have here. We are looking to complete the collection, if you have a map from one of the missing years, please contact us!
