Christi Center is pleased to add Camp Zebra to our programs for Summer 2025! Named in honor of Christi Lanahan, whose favorite animal was zebras, Camp Zebra is a five-day day camp that aims to provide support and safety for children and teens who have experienced the death loss of a loved one. Campers can look forward to connection, emotional support and fun through therapeutic activities led by a licensed therapist, interns and volunteers.
The dates for Camp are July 14-July 18, 2025 from 9 am-3 pm. Late pick-up will offered until 4 pm as needed.
Camp Zebra is provided free of charge, however, a registration fee of $30 for the first camper and $5 per each additional camper applies. A limited number of scholarships is available for families who need assistance with Camp Zebra registration fees. Please contact Rachel Saffer, LCSW-S at rachel@christicenter.org for more information on how to apply for a scholarship.
Please note that space is limited to 28 participants (20 campers ages 5-12 and 8 campers ages 13-18). Campers are accepted on a first come first serve basis. If your camper will not be able to attend all 5 days this summer, we ask that you reconnect with us for Summer 2026.
