Learning and Adapting in the COVID-19 Era

Above all, we want to assure you we are here for you. We continue to learn and develop ways for our community to stay connected, so that no one has to grieve alone.

Online Support for Adults

Almost all of the support groups we offered in-person have now moved online. We are hosting 24 loss-specific peer-support groups for adults each month, including:

*NEW* Loss During COVID-19 Group

A group for adults who have lost a loved one to COVID-19 and those whose loss experience has been impacted by health restrictions and stay-at-home plans. Meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays. New to groups at The Christi Center? Start HERE.

Attended before? Register here for 2nd Wednesdays or 4th Wednesdays.

Online Support for Youth

Teen Grief Support Group

Teen group for people aged (13-18) is meeting online via Zoom twice monthly, on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. For new members, please complete a New Family Member Form and a staff member will call you back within 1-2 business days to talk about the group and discuss ways to talk with your teen about the group.

Parents and Guardians will also need to complete this online consent form.

Kids Grief Support

While we can’t gather our Kids Who Care groups and School Services are paused, we are offering do-at-home activities for families and care kits.
