The Christi Center is a free resource for any grieving person in Central Texas. We provide the space for you to build your support network, by connecting you with others who have had a similar loss. We welcome all faiths, all backgrounds and all ages starting at age five.

We offer 35 peer-based grief support groups a month in Austin and Georgetown for any type of death loss, with specialized groups for loss of a child, loss of a spouse, loss to suicide, and loss to crime. We also serve children (ages 5-12), teens (13-19) and young adults (18+). Each group is led by a trained peer facilitator who has also had a loss. For our kids, teens, and young adult groups, the group is led by a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
